Congleton Lawn Tennis Club confirms winter sponsors

Congleton Lawn Tennis Club is pleased to announce that it now has all of its prizes in its 2021-22 Winter Doubles League sponsored.

Already on board were Porters Service Station of Padgbury Lane and sweet treats experts Fudged IT.

Porters Service Station run by club member James Porter will be providing petrol vouchers for the winners go the mens section , and Fudged IT a small artisan fudge manufacture run by Congleton resident Emily Hume will providing fudge boxes for the winners of the mixed section.

And now the club have welcomed, The Edge Hair Design based on Mill Street as sponsors of the ladies section.

This is all in thanks to owner Amy Condliffe and the staff based there, there will be one prize of a cut and finish valued at £35 and another of an Olaplex care bundle worth £50.

Amy said "We have chosen to sponsor the tennis club as we feel small businesses should work alongside each other and support each other whether times are good or bad "

In addition to this the Congleton night spot Bamboogy is sponsoring the club's winter singles competition.

The 38-40 High Street nightclub has been with our town in the current incarnation since 2019.

Congleton Lawn Tennis Club is situated behind the West Street carpark.

The club is grateful to all of it sponsors and encourages its members to support the businesses who are so kindly backing the club

The clubs winter competitions are organised by Mile Massey (doubles ladder) and Nick Willis (singles ladder).
