Congleton Town scored a penalty in the dying seconds to beat Hanley Town 1-0.

Aaron Bott held his nerve to slot home the penalty and earn the Bears a big three points in front of 290 spectators.

The Bears were awarded a penalty after Hanley's goalkeeper kicked a Congleton player, the altercation between the pair came when the keeper was trying to kick the ball out of his hands.

Jonathan Swale was sent off for the Bears at the Cheshire 106.9 Silk Stadium after he pushed a Hanley player to the ground in the 74th minute.

Ryan Austin's side are scheduled to travel to Avro on Saturday.
