Congleton Lawn Tennis Club has recently staged a couple of socially distanced presentations to celebrate the winners from their inaugural Summer Doubles competition.

The winning men's pair and overall winners Andrew Giltrap and James Wetton received the winners shield from Eileen Grigg of trophy sponsors EPG Accountants.

They also received their prize vouchers courtesy of the Olde Kings Arms.

The leading ladies pair Jane Cummings and Jackie Simpson received their prize vouchers from independent Tropic ambassador Jo Mathers.

The club's traditional winter doubles ladders are now underway with 68 players in 34 pairs taking part in eight divisions.

It is great to see so many members taking part in the competition including a lot of the club's newer members.
