Congleton Tennis Clubs last tournament of 2021 was the New Year's eve tournament sponsored by Bach 95
Twenty members enjoyed the morning with weather that was pleasant but a little windy
The players played in foursomes groups to determine the semi finalists with the group winners and three best runners up qualifying
In the first semi final Chris Garside and Eileen Grigg defeated Nigel Spratt and Pamela Bloor
In the second semi final James Porter and Sue Hayes-Smith beat Paul Walton and Anne Moore
The final was a close encounter with Chris and Eileen edging it and taking home the beers courtesy of sponsors Bach 95
The club are proud to be now stocking the sponsor Bach 95 products in its clubhouse bar
This competition marked the end of a very successful 2021 tournament calendar
Organiser Andrew Giltrap thanked all of the sponsors who have supported the tournaments during the year and all those members who have taken part in the events.
