Yorkshire driver arrested in Congleton

A man from Yorkshire has got in trouble with Congleton Police.
A Leeds resident has been charged following a stop check by officers in Congleton last week, in the north west of the town.
Craig Thompson was arrested on Monday 6 March, following a stop and search conducted by officers on Newman Close.
The 39-year-old of Kingston Terrace, Leeds was subsequently charged with driving while disqualified, driving a motor vehicle without consent, driving without insurance and failing to provide a sample.
He has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Friday 24 March.
