Luxury Wreath Making Course

Kick your weekend off early at Capesthorne Hall on Thursday 23 November for a wonderful Luxury Wreath Making Workshop with Silk & Wild.

During the workshop you will learn the skills needed to make your very own festive wreath, ready to take home and adorn your front door!

You will also be given the opportunity of exclusive access into The Hall, which will be dressed for Christmas to help you kick-start your festivities! 

Ticket Includes a two-hour Wreath Making Workshop, all tools and decorations, access to the hall and a glass of mulled wine or prosecco and festive treat.

Congleton Repair Cafe

On Saturday 25 November, Congleton Repair Cafe is back. Join the volunteer run, monthly, free event held at The Old Sawmill on Back River St.

The team repair:

  • Electrical appliances
  • Clothing and materials
  • Furniture
  • Bikes
  • Clocks
  • Costume jewellery

If they cannot repair your item on the day, advice will be given as to how best to fix it in the future, or where to take it.

Though this is a free service – donations are welcome! Feel free to "pay as you feel", as all donations will go back into improving this monthly event.

Usually running on the last Saturday of the month – please check directly with Congleton Repair Cafe for up to date details.

Santa Clause

Santa Clause is coming to Congleton town and the surrounding areas this festive season, with the fun kicking off this weekend.

On Sunday 26 November, the annual Congleton Santa tour will be back for 2023, and Santa will try to visit everyone who'd like to meet him on the listed routes.

On Sunday 26 November, Santa will be visiting West Heath Close/Longdown/Somerford Grove/Loachbrook Meadow. His journey will continue on Monday 27 November, when he will be visiting Somerford Reach/Black Firs Park/Somerford Gate/Turnstone Grange/Blossom Gate.
