Police are appealing for information following reports of suspicious activity in Congleton.

At 3pm on Friday 17 November a 15-year-old girl was at a bus stop in Box Lane when she spotted a man indecently exposing himself. There was a similar incident nearby on Tuesday 21 November.

On both occasions the suspect didn't speak or approach anyone.

He is described as being aged between 20 and 30 years old, white, wearing a dark hoodie and grey jogging bottoms.

Sgt John Roberts said: "There were two other people at the bus stop who may have seen the incident or the man at the bus stop. I'd urge them to get in touch as well as anyone with information, or who has seen any similar incidents in the area.

"I'd like to reassure residents that we are making a number of enquiries to establish the identity of the suspect and have increased patrols in the area."

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website, www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us quoting IML 1693276. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
