Santa Clause is coming to Congleton town and the surrounding areas this festive season, with the fun kicking off this weekend.

On Sunday 26 November, the annual Congleton Santa tour will be back for 2023, and Santa will try to visit everyone who'd like to meet him on the listed routes.

Due to 'Elf and Safety', the team cannot stop on main roads, so be sure to read all the way to the end of this article to find out where your closest stop is...

Congleton Santa is an annual event run by a very small team of volunteers, all of whom have regular day jobs, who want to try their best to bring some Christmas magic to the children and charities of Congleton.

As such, the team welcome donations to allow the festive tradition to continue.

The team added: "Please give generously when you see him en route! If you want to free up your purse while earning yourself some good will with Santa, then getting your change ready for when Santa and his Elves come by on route would be the way to go.

"We are not the Round Table, Lions or Rotary Club. We are only a small Congleton charity of only five core local volunteers (all with regular day jobs), who have worked hard to keep Santa going since Congleton Round Table disbanded in 2005. We try to spread festive cheer and help other Congleton Charities raise money in the process, so please help Santa pile on the pounds this Christmas!"

You can consider gifting a small donation to Congleton Santa, because all of Clause's causes benefit the people of Congleton.

Santa Clause is landing in Congleton on Sunday 26 November, and will be paying visits to good children across the area until 17 December - just in time to hand over your Christmas list and make sure that you are on your best behaviour so that he leaves you a gift!
