HAPPY WEEKEND CONGLETON!

Here's our pick of the best Congleton events this weekend...

Don't forget you can promote your upcoming Congleton event on our events section.

  1. Late Night Disco

The Bulls Head will be hosting a disco from 7 til late on Saturday for Congletonian Lacy Mills.

The Congleton pub - which was recently refurbished - is located on Mill Street.

It is quite the difference from a fortnight ago, where the pub was taking part in a charity sleepover to raise money for the homeless..

  1. Classical Concert

Live music will be held at Clonter Opera Theatre in Swettenham this weekend.

Pianist Martin Roscoe will play Beethoven, Brahms and Wagner among other great European composers.

The concert on Trap Road will begin on Saturday at 3pm. Tickets range from £2 to £23. Buy your tickets here.

Listen to him perform Schubert Impromptu in A flat D.935/2 on YouTube here.

  1. GraveTalk

Bridge Street eatery WILD & WILD are always serving great food and occasionally hosting lifestyle and wellness events.

From wine and vegan cheese nights to baby yoga. There's quite the breadth of topics, and this weekend will be GraveTalk.

The space cafe space will be for people to chat with one another in a comfortable space to talk about death, dying and funerals.

Bringing up death is never great in a conversation, but given everyone attending will be up to discuss it, it won't be as awkward. You might even make some new friends.

The event takes place from 3pm to 4:30pm on Sunday.

And that's it. Have a fantastic weekend Congleton!
