It has just been announced that Congleton-based Embrace Performing Arts have been nominated for an award.

The performing arts events company is a finalist for the People's Choice category of the North West Family Business Awards 2022.

Originating during lockdown, Embrace brought West End workshops and parties to our screens in Cheshire via Zoom.

This then led to transition days for local primary school children, parties, wedding choreography, along with memorable performances in Congleton care homes.

They also memorable evenings and breakfasts with Santa which brought the community together in these times of hardship.

Embrace has already seen off strong competition with a record number of 186 businesses entering the awards from across the North West region.

Now they wait with bated breath over the coming weeks to find out if they've got the gong.

This first-class event will be held at The Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel, Liverpool with host, food writer, and presenter Nigel Barden, and will take place on Friday 13th May 2022.

Co-Founder and Director, Sue Howorth said: "We were inundated with some incredible entries and we have been burning the midnight oil to get through them as they came in right up to the wire.

"The judges had extremely difficult decisions to make so the finalists should be extremely proud of themselves!"

The finalists will now receive a visit from a specially selected panel of expert judges before the judges make their final decisions.

The winners will be announced at the glittering ceremony on Friday 13th May. You can find out more information about the awards here.
