It goes without saying that this year will be a landmark year for Congleton. Any new venture opening in our town is amazing news, but in our 750th year since Congleton's charter, anything opening for the first time this year will be extra special.

Here are our top three most exciting things to open in Congleton this year.

1. Higher Ground Cafe and Bar

The former Royal Bank of Scotland building on High Street will become a trendy new eatery this year.

Approved in June, opening in Q1 2021, Higher Ground Cafe and Bar will brunch brunch, booze and great views of our town in action.

Congleton Nub News will heading in their for first access in due course.

2. Stephenson Browne

A hub for all things property, including an experienced community-driven estate agents, Stephenson Browne will open their doors later this month on 21 High Street.

We'll also aim to feature properties of theirs in a regular article series called Property of the Week to help kickstart their first sales.

They've already struck up a relationship with local businesses and charities.

3.Congleton Radio

Throughout our town, you'll be able to pick up a brand new radio station for Congleton on the airwaves.

Congleton Radio will be a dedicated community radio station opening in a matter of months.

A husband-and-wife team will be bringing Congleton Radio to your ears, offering a mix of contemporary and classic music, plus Congleton-made programming.
