Visitors to Congleton War Memorial Hospital warned of potential disruption
Hospital visitors are being warned of potential disruption.
East Cheshire NHS Trust has confirmed that repair works are to be carried out on Canal Road outside Congleton War Memorial Hospital later this week.
As such, a traffic management system will be in place on Thursday and Friday (September 18 and 19) which could cause delays when entering and leaving the site.
A statement released by the trust read: "National Grid will be carrying out repair works directly opposite the entrance to the Congleton War Memorial Hospital site on Thursday and Friday.
"To allow this to happen safely, a traffic management system will be in place on Canal Road.
"This will affect access to and from the site, and there could be short delays.
"Please allow extra time for your journey and take extra care when entering and leaving the site."
