It could be next month before traffic light issues on a main road outside Congleton are fixed.

Cheshire East Highways are aware of traffic signal issues on A54 Buxton Road, near Colley Mill Bridge, North Rode.

A Cheshire East Highways spokesperson said: "Due to environmental concerns the repair will take approximately three weeks.

"We're designing changes to the program whilst ensuring safety of road users and protecting the environment. Please approach with care."
