The Environment Award is one of seven prizes up for grabs at this year's Town Mayor's Civic Awards.

This particular award aims to celebrate individuals dedicated to conservation, sustainability, and enhancing green spaces.

From tree planting to biodiversity projects, Congleton's green champions are helping shape a more sustainable future.

Last year's winner, Patti Pinto, was recognised for her passionate advocacy for sustainable greening, Congleton in Bloom, and biodiversity initiatives.

Congleton Town Mayor, councillor Robert Brittain, said: "Environmental volunteers are investing in the future of our town.

"Their work benefits generations to come.

"If you know someone leading green initiatives or protecting our natural spaces, please put their name forward."
