Local businesses came together for an afternoon of sport, food and networking as Stephenson Browne hosted its first padel networking event in Congleton

The event, organised by Stephenson Browne in partnership with GSM Padel, took place on Wednesday, August 26, and brought together professionals and business owners from across the local area.

Designed as an alternative to more traditional business networking, the afternoon gave attendees the chance to make new connections while enjoying some friendly competition on the padel court.

Businesses from a range of sectors took part, with the event combining an hour of padel with time to network, chat and enjoy pizzas provided by The Little Oven.

Following the success of the afternoon, the team at Stephenson Browne said they were delighted with the response and are already looking forward to doing it again.

They added: "Seeing so many local businesses come together at our first networking event was amazing.

"We wanted to create something a little different than 'traditional' networking, combining sport, great food and fun conversations – mixed with business too, of course.

"We saw existing relationships strengthened whilst also building new ones and we can't wait to do it again soon – keep your eyes peeled!

Among the businesses taking part was Magnet Kitchens Crewe, which already works in partnership with Stephenson Browne.

The Magnet Kitchens Crewe team said: "It was a pleasure to be a part of Stephenson Browne's first networking event – and what better way to connect than with a game of padel!

"We had a fantastic time meeting and chatting with local businesses, building new connections and enjoying some friendly competition on the court."

The partnership between Stephenson Browne and Magnet Kitchens Crewe also offers an added benefit to people buying a home through the estate agent.
