Astonbury

Glebe Farm hosts the Astonbury music festival this weekend.

The party kicks off at 5pm on Friday, with plenty of live music, food vendors and local beer to look forward to.

Best of all, every penny of profit will go directly to local causes.

Town Tidy Day

Congleton in Bloom is asking members of the local community to help prepare the town for this year's RHS Britain in Bloom judging by taking part in its next Town Tidy Day.

Volunteers will meet at the Community Garden on Lawton Street at 10am on Saturday.

Activities will include litter picking, weeding and a range of gardening tasks to ensure the town looks its very best ahead of judging.

Lunchtime recital

Looking ahead to next week, St Peter's Church hosts its final lunchtime recital of 2026.

The Kell Wind Trio will be playing a selection of music by Haydn, Ibert, Shostakovich, Arnold and Parry Jones .

The recital is free, with hot drinks and cake served from 11.30am.
