MGP is the new name for Milton Garden Products, Cheshire Garden Products and PK Stubbs.

The Cheshire Garden Products name, as well as PK Stubbs, will be well-known to residents of the Congleton area.

Under the new MGP brand, customers can be assured of the same level of customer service, product quality and wide choice, as they have always enjoyed from Cheshire Garden Products, based on Manchester Road.

In fact, since MGP has one of the biggest delivery fleets in the business, you can be confident they will get your order to you in double quick time, despite the fact that this is the busiest time of the year.

A spokesperson said: "We are your local expert for all your garden paving requirements – fully open at all four branches, including the upcoming May bank holidays.

"As the no.1 specialist in the region, we hold extensive ranges of paving products, both in porcelain and natural stone. Call in at Milton, Blythe Bridge, Crewe or Congleton and have a browse!

MGP's association with Cheshire Garden products goes back to 2015 when the Harrison family, which has been in the coal business for 100 years, bought Cheshire Town & Country Fuels, including its Congleton yard, which at that time ran as a coal merchant.

The introduction of garden products from the Milton Garden Products range was a logical diversification – and that was how Cheshire Garden Products came into being.

Soon the company acquired the Crewe business PK Stubbs, which had been selling similar products for around 20 years.

Now, in 2026, all the brands are being brought together under the MGP banner, as the company works to increase its ranges of high quality, fashionable paving and related products, sources from the world's top producers.

The Congleton branch in particular has been the subject of recent large scale development to meet the needs of the fast-growing residential areas around it.

Nowadays, this site offers a lot more than the click and collect service, with which people might be familiar.

They also have a fleet of delivery vehicles based on site, which can offer a full delivery service.
