Free family fun is coming to Congleton this summer.

Congleton Town Council has announced it will host four Summer Play Days throughout the school holidays.

Taking place between 10.30am and 2.30pm every Tuesday from July 28 to August 18, each week will offer a different theme packed with activities for children and families to enjoy.

Town Mayor, councillor Suzy Firkin, said: "We're delighted to bring our Summer Play Days back to the heart of Congleton.

"The programme has been designed to give children the chance to be active, creative and have fun throughout the holidays.

"These free events are a fantastic way of bringing our community together, encouraging people to enjoy everything our town centre has to offer whilst trying out a different theme each week.

"There's plenty to discover, and I would encourage everyone to come along and join in the fun."

The Summer Play Days are completely free to attend and no booking is required.

Details of the four days can be found below and each week will also feature a free face painter, a community book swap and family-friendly activities hosted by Congleton Family Hub.
