Residential road which turned into "dumping ground" highlights fly-tipping issues losing town's tip would bring

It has taken me several months acting as a ward councillor to get the relevant people to remove the rubbish people have been dumping at the rear of Clayton Avenue.

Nobody should have to look through their windows at what can only be described as a dumping ground.

As seen in the photographs, now this land has been cleared this is a fantastic piece of ground for children in the area to play safely on.

What concerns me more about this situation is that with Cheshire East planning to close our recycling centre, in the future, dumping rubbish around Congleton like this will increase drastically.

So, I am calling on the residents of Congleton to make as much noise as possible to Cheshire East to find another piece of land for our recycling centre.

Please sign the online petition. Working together we can win this battle.
