NHS staff to scale mountain at night to help improve patient care

NHS staff will climb a mountain at night to help improve patient care.
East Cheshire NHS Trust's community services team are embarking on a night hike up Snowdon next Saturday (May 17).
In doing so they will aim to raise vital funds that will make a massive difference to enhance the care provided to patients.
Donations will fund new equipment, activities for patients and training for staff, as well as helping the trust transform staff and patient areas.
Elizabeth Chambers, who will be part of the team taking on the hike, said: "Our community services make sure we can stay in the comfort of our own homes while getting the support we need.
"Donations would make a massive difference to colleagues in the community to enhance the care that we can provide to our patients.
"With your support, we can sprinkle some extra joy into our community and make a real difference."
Operating across East Cheshire, the trust's community services include five individual care communities that empower people to live independently and healthily for as long as possible.
An array of specialist services also work hand-in-hand with the care communities, creating a supportive network that keeps the people of East Cheshire feeling at their best.
