The most popular baby names in Cheshire East have been revealed.

New data released by the Office for National Statistics has revealed the most popular baby names in England and Wales in 2025.

Here in Cheshire East, Olivia and Poppy have come out as the most popular names for girls, with 25 registered in the borough last year.

For boys, George was the clear favourite choice for new parents, with 39 registered in 2025.

A total of 35,705 baby girls and 37,662 baby boys were registered across the whole of the North West.
