Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo star coming to Congleton
One of the country's top comedians is coming to Congleton.
Andy Parsons, who many will know for his lengthy stint on Mock the Week, will perform at the town hall later this year.
Organisers, CNG Laughs, say it will be Congleton's 'biggest ever' comedy event.
A spokesperson added: "Join us for an unforgettable night of comedy with the hilarious Andy Parsons, live at Congleton Town Hall!
"Andy is one of the UK's most celebrated comedians, known for his sharp observations and razor-sharp wit.
"Best recognised from his long-standing role on the award-winning BBC panel show Mock the Week, Andy has also graced stages around the world, delivering side-splitting performances that leave audiences in stitches.
"His unique take on modern life, politics, and the absurdities of the everyday makes him a must-see act."
Andy, who has also appeared on Live at the Apollo and presented nine series of Parsons and Naylor's Pull-Out Sections on BBC Radio 2, performs in Congleton on Friday, March 7.
It will be a work in progress show, following the success of his 100-plus date 'Bafflingly Optimistic' tour in 2023-2024.
Tickets start from £20, with over 50 per cent of general admission having already sold out.
