By Tom Avery 5th Mar 2021

Residents who have recently visited St Stephens may have noticed the memorial stone for the church's Garden of Rest has been cleaned and restored.

The stone was in an "advanced state of deterioration", but thanks to Russ Hough, of Congleton Memorials, it has been "lovingly restored" and visitors to the churchyard, on Chapel Street, Congleton can now easily identify the Garden of Rest area.
