This adorable canine from Congleton could be our town's most famous living dog.

Miniature Dachshund Daisy (4) has garnered 32,000 followers on her Instagram @daisyminidash.

She's captivated thousands with her adorable images and videos of her adventures, including one clip which got over two million views.

Congleton resident and owner Andy, who prefers to be behind the camera, explained why he thinks Daisy has resonated with people so much.

She also loves to visit Congleton pubs like The Wonky Pear and The Young Pretender (before it closed). (Image - @daisyminidash)

"Daisy could be described as a little Diva," said Andy.

"She definitely is cute with her good looks and shiny coat, but also sassy.

"Dachshunds are a popular breed at present and their personalities and sociability really shine through.

"Daisy's content is fun, engaging and light hearted and so I think this is what makes her so popular, along with her beautiful looks - but her personality really steals the show.

"She loves a cuddle and a belly rub, warm sunny weather and treats.

"Daisy is well known in the town! (Or we like to think so!) She loves a walk in the park chasing squirrels!

"When the weather is fair, she also loves a run across Dane in Shaw pastures!"

Daisy moved to her fur-ever home in June 2018 from an experienced breeder in Lymm. The Congleton pupper lives with her two dads and is the only animal of the house.

Popular posts include chasing a mop around the kitchen, and playing with a stuffed snake toy.

Her Instagram posts also see her touring Congleton businesses like The Wonky Pear, Higher Ground Cafe Bar, The Plough Inn at Eaton and The Beartown Den.

In many of her posts, Daisy is cracking a human-like smile, which has left many of her fans smitten.

"The secret to Daisy's cuteness is Dad holding a biscuit or treat behind the camera," added Andy.

"She also loves a good pose. Daisy has worked with a number of brands in the past, we regularly receive messages for collaborations

"She also gets lots of gifts, which we are very grateful for. Daisy has received a variety of things such as harnesses, leads, toys, treats, food, artwork of her, and more.

"Food-wise, Daisy loves a scrambled egg and usually has this as a weekend treat.

"A dog definitely makes a home and they provide you with endless love and affection. Daisy is definitely good for our mental health in terms of getting out and about, meeting people and just cuddling up in front of the TV.

"We really overthought getting a Dog for too long, but ultimately knew we could provide a loving home and we think Daisy is certainly living her best life.

"It's nice to see that Daisy makes people smile or happy!"
