Man given oxygen following collision in Marton

A man was given oxygen by firefighters following a collision between a car and van in Marton.

Shortly after 10:30am today (Monday), firefighters were called following reports of a collision on Congleton Road, Marton.

Two fire engines attended, one from Congleton and one from Macclesfield.

On arrival crews found that the collision involved a van and a car.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "One man was given oxygen by firefighters before being handed over to the care of paramedics."

Firefighters were on the scene for around 30 minutes.
