Man arrested on suspicion of arson after summer house fire in Congleton

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire in Congleton.
Emergency services were called to Dale Crescent in the early hours of Sunday morning, July 12.
Upon arrival, a summer house was found ablaze, with the flames having spread to nearby fence panels, hedges and a telegraph pole.
A 32-year-old man has since been arrested, with the fire thought to have been started deliberately.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 3.04am on Sunday, July 12, police received reports of a fire in Dale Crescent, Congleton.
"A summer house was on fire which was extinguished by colleagues from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.
"A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson. He has since been released on bail."
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service sent two engines to the scene shortly before 3am, one each from the Congleton and Macclesfield stations.
A spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to a fire on Dale Crescent in Congleton.
"They used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish a fire involving a garden shed, fence panels, hedges and a telegraph pole.
"Police also attended the scene as the fire is believed to have been started deliberately,"
