A man accused of crashing into a police car is due in court.
A 28-year-old man has been summonsed to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court later this month.
This follows a crash on the A534 near Congleton on August 19.
It is alleged the suspect crashed into a police car which was on its way to an unrelated incident.
The driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of a string of offences.
He has since been sent a postal requisition, so won't formally be charged until he appears in court on Thursday, November 27.
The 28-year-old is due to face charges of failing to stop after an accident, drug driving, possession of nitrous oxide, driving without insurance and driving without due care and attention.
