A Congleton Back Lane business has had one of their vans spotted on another continent.

The last thing Congleton Nub News reader Viv Wells expected to see on her holiday was a reminder of home.

But it was a welcome surprise to see a reminder of home with a van featuring the branding of transportation firm 'Ken's of Congleton'.

"Just thought you might like to see this," they said.

"I was stunned to see this on the Zimbabwe - Botswana border."

This is almost 8000 miles away from our town.

"Has he lost one," he quipped.

Coach Operator Carolyn Pickles confirmed to Congleton Nub News that is was one of their vehicles, and was given away many years ago.

One of the modern vehicles now in use by Kens of Congleton.

The Congleton company offer 16 to 41 seat mini bus and coaches. They're perfect for trips to airports, schools, and days out.

Congleton: Give them a call to book on 01260 299649.

It is not even the first time branding of a Congleton institution has appeared in the south African country, as last year, Vale Juniors football kits were spotted in Zimbabwe.
