East Congleton man charged following alcohol-related car crash

Police have charged a Congleton resident with drink driving, following a one-vehicle collision near a canal in Moston near Sandbach.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Billy Cooper, 23, of Bradwell Grove, Congleton was charged with drink-driving.

"He was bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on 23 March."

Cheshire Police were called to a canal bridge in Hall Lane, Moston near Sandbach at 8.12pm on Wednesday March 1.
