Join the mayor for winter walk to raise awareness of 'incredible' charity

Join the Mayor of Congleton for a walk this winter.
Councillor Kay Wesley is inviting the community join her for a walk at Astbury Mere to raise awareness of Ruby's.
One of the mayor's chosen charities, Ruby's supports 0–18-year-olds with special educational needs and disabilities in Cheshire East.
Councillor Wesley said: "The Winter Walk is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy the great outdoors, and support the incredible work Ruby's does.
"I'm proud to have Ruby's as one of my charities this year and look forward to seeing our town unite for such a meaningful cause."

The Winter Walk takes place at Astbury Mere on Tuesday, February 18, from 11am to 1pm.
Along the way, walkers will be able to take in the beautiful surrounds while enjoying interactive activities, including Ruby's sensory bus and crafts at the visitor centre.
The event is designed to be inclusive, ensuring that everyone can participate, with disabled parking available.
While donations to Ruby's are encouraged they are not essential, with no charge to take part in the Winter Walk.
