Congleton resident, Harvey Leyland (16), is celebrating outstanding success after collecting his hard-earned GCSE results from Beech Hall School today (25 August).

Harvey was delighted to discover that he had achieved an excellent set of results, including an exceptional grade 9 in GCSE Design Technology. He has also secured an impressive trio of grade 8s, two grade 7s and one grade 6.

Following his accomplishments, Harvey will now take up a place at Sir John Deane's College in Northwich to take A Levels.

Commenting on Harvey's achievements, Beech Hall School Headmaster, James Allen, said: "Since joining Beech Hall School in Year 8 Harvey has made excellent progress and developed a highly positive attitude to learning; we are incredibly pleased that his efforts have now been rewarded with a superb set of GCSE results. We wish Harvey the very best of luck as he embarks on the next stage of his academic journey."

Beech Hall School is an independent school located in Tytherington in Macclesfield.
