Firefighters rescue three people stuck in mud at Bosley Reservoir

Fire crews had to rescue three people who got stuck in the mud at Bosley reservoir yesterday evening (31 May).

Four fire engines went to the scene of the incident which is recorded to have happened at 5:23pm on Sunday.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Crews using water safety equipment rescued the three who had no injuries. Firefighters were in attendance for just under one hour."

Crews came from Macclesfield, Lymm, Warrington and Widnes stations.
