Fifty-seven-year-old woman charged with causing bodily harm and criminal damage following house collision in Congleton

A woman who was arrested following an incident in Congleton where a car collided with a house has now been charged.

Julie Banks was arrested on Sunday 16 May following an incident on Overton Close, Congleton.

The 57-year-old has since been charged with causing bodily harm by wanton/furious driving and criminal damage (to a value of more than £5000)

Banks, of Overton Close, Congleton, has been remanded in police custody and will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court later today (Tuesday 18 May).
