Get ready to celebrate diversity and challenge inequalities.

Congleton Pride returns for its sixth year this Saturday (July 19).

The town centre will be filled with music, colour and community spirit, rooted in LGBTQIA+ solidarity.

Chair of Congleton Pride, Malcolm Pope, said: "Pride is joyful, powerful and necessary.

"We celebrate how far we've come, and we keep showing up for those still on that journey.

"Congleton Pride is a space where everyone can be seen, heard, and valued – for who they are. That's why it matters."

Congleton Pride kicks off at 10am with two stages showcasing live music, drag and dance throughout the day.

Starting at West Street car park at 11.30am, the Pride Parade will head along Bridge Street before arriving at the Main Stage at around 11.45am.

There will also be an Artisan Market from 10am to 4pm, a classic car show in front of the Town Hall and art exhibition at The Space.

Meanwhile, organisers have focused on making this year's event more accessible than ever, working in partnership with the Equal Access Advisory Group. Visitors can expect:

There will be accessible toilets and seating throughout the site, clearly marked quiet zones and BSL interpretation for selected performances.

Dr Deborah Lawson, chair of Congleton's Equal Access Advisory Group, said: "Congleton Pride has shown real leadership by putting inclusion at the heart of its planning.

"Their commitment to creating a space where everyone can participate fully is a shining example of what inclusive events should look like and truly reflects their ethos that Pride is for everyone."
