Dog show confirmed for Congleton Park Jubilee celebrations: could your furry friend win?

A Congleton dog show will take place for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The RSPCA dog show is set for Congleton Park at Thursday 2nd June 2022.

The two hour contest will take place from 2pm – 4pm.

There are plenty of fun categories, which cost £2 to enter per pooch.

There will be awards for best rescue dog, waggiest tail and 'the dog that the Queen would most like to take home.

Other categories include best puppy, golden oldie, and for the dog which most resembles their owner.

Elsewhere across the ten categories, there's also prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, and best paw shaker.

The competition will be surrounded by lots of fun for all the family on the day with live music from local musicians such as The Encores, Audley Brass Band.

Radio conglomerate Bauer Media will also have a presence on the day, with the the Signal 1 Roadshow.

The party will also have Punch & Judy, games, stalls & much more. The main Jubilee event runs from 1-5.30pm, and you can find more info about the main celebrations here.

RPSPCA Macclesfield, South East Cheshire and Buxton will host the Congleton Park event. Registered charity number: 225689

"All proceeds from the dog show will go directly to our branch for the animals in our care," said the organisers.
