Congleton Town FC are still looking for sponsors to reignite promotion push

Our town's football club wants help from the Congleton business community.

While the club is already sponsored by over seven local companies, there is still room for more.

Current sponsors include Cleric Software Solutions of the Greenfield Farm Industrial estate.

Riverside Mountbatten Way web designers Cheshire Online also pledge funds to the club.

Local radio station Cheshire Silk 106.9 are perhaps the best-known sponsors.

They even have the new stadium near Booth Street and Ivy Gardens named after them.

Franklyn Financial Management, Mind Body & Sole, and Bear Grills Cafe are among the other sponsors.

The non-league football club for Congleton had a fantastic start to the season, which saw them skyrocket to the top of the table.

However, the tumultuous Cheshire derby in August with Macclesfield FC saw The Silkmen leapfrog The Bears.

Since then Congleton Town have not performed as well. They were as high as sixth last month.

But now they sit in 10th in the overall North West Counties Football League.

They sit bottom of the form table, as they have lost the most matches in past six fixtures. Their current form is LLLLDD.

So an investment from a local company might inject life back into The Bears ambitions for promotion this season.

In total, Congleton Town FC have 25 points, after 18 games.

Their sponsorship packages range from £150 to £3500.

"We've still got some matches available if you or your business would like to be [a] matchball sponsor," the club said.

"Check availability at online or alternatively email [email protected] for more details, or see the attached image."

Alternatively you can call the club direct via 01260 274460, to make further enquiries.

You can follow Richard Duffy's side on Facebook.

The club who play at the Cheshire's Silk 106.9 Stadium can also be followed on Twitter.

Congleton's footie club also has an Instagram.

Potential sponsors may like to know that the club has a combined 10,000 follower count across social media.

Up the Bears!
