Get ready for a school nativity like no other.
Phoenix Theatre Company are preparing to stage The Flint Street Nativity at Daneside Theatre.
It is described as a 'riotous and affectionate' look back at the chaotic school Christmas plays of our childhoods, brought to life by an adult cast.
Director Clare Watson said: "This isn't a children's nativity.
"The cast are having as much fun as the audience, playing with the chaos, the panic, and the tiny disasters of school Christmas plays.
"It's a chance to laugh at those moments we all remember and enjoy the ridiculousness of it all together."

The Flint Street Nativity is based on the 1999 British television comedy film of the same name, directed by Marcus Mortimer and written by Tim Firth, starring Frank Skinner, Neil Morrissey, Jane Horrocks, and others.
The original film followed primary school children putting on a nativity play and has since become a beloved example of British Christmas comedy.
In this show, Miss Horrocks' class of seven-year-olds (played by adults) are putting on their nativity for a proud audience of mums, dads, and the occasional social worker.
But backstage tensions quickly spiral into onstage chaos: Gabriel insists on playing Mary; the star demands to shine like one at NASA; Herod won't stop waving to his parents; and the Innkeeper is rewriting the script entirely.
Tickets for the show, which runs from November 26 to 29, are priced at just £10 and can be purchased online here.
