Welcome in the holiday season with the Mayor of Congleton.

Town Mayor, councillor Robert Brittain, is gearing up to host a special Festive Feast Fundraiser.

The event will help to raise money for the mayor's chosen charities; Circus Starr, Mentell, and Visyon.

Councillor Brittain said: "I am delighted to invite the people of Congleton to join us for the Festive Feast Fundraiser.

"Alexandra Court is such a lovely venue, and I know it will provide the perfect setting for an enjoyable evening of community, celebration, and support for our local charities.

"I hope as many residents as possible will come along to share in the festive spirit and help make a real difference to these worthy causes."

The festivities get underway at 7pm on Thursday, December 4.

Taking place at Alexandra Court Hotel, guests will be treated to a two-course meal.

A limited number of tickets are available to the public at £35 each, and all must be booked in advance.

The event will also welcome civic dignitaries and neighbouring mayors, alongside members of the community.
