Congleton Pride is preparing to celebrate its fifth birthday on Saturday 20 July (Congleton Pride).

Congleton Pride returns to the town centre on Saturday 20 July in what will be its fifth iteration.

The Pride parade will begin from Park Street Car Park at 11am, winding its way through the town centre and "turning up the volume on love, acceptance and celebration".

Still, there is much more to the day than just the parade!

Expect food and drink, fashion shows, music, even exhibitions at the town hall.

Two stages in the town centre will be playing host to speeches, dancing, and live music, and there will even be an after party from 6pm at Radley & Co.

In short, expect the town centre to be bursting with colour and happiness for the duration of the day.

All are welcome to join in the parade - or you can just take in the festivities with a coffee or while going about your shopping.

The organisers said of this event: "We're turning up the volume on love, acceptance, and celebration, for one of the most vibrant and colourful birthday parties of the year - Congleton Pride's fifth birthday!

"Join us in making it a day to remember. A family fun day of celebration filled with love, joy, and acceptance for everyone, regardless of who you are or whom you love.

"Embracing the beautiful tapestry of diversity within our community; all colours of the rainbow unite!"
