Congleton Park is set to "roar with excitement" this weekend (27-28 July) with a 'thrilling' family event to kick off the summer holidays.

Dino Fun World will feature a wide range of exciting activities - an adventure playground, inflatables, children's fair rides, and a model dinosaur nursery featuring dinosaur eggs.

There will also be some fully-grown model dinosaurs at the park, plus some interactive exhibits for budding paleontologists.

Visitors will also be able to find face painting, plus plenty of food and drink stalls.

As the organisers state: "Visitors of all ages can explore a variety of exciting activities, making it a perfect family day out – and that's good news for both dinosaur lovers and youngsters who just want all the fun of the fair.

"Each day will have its own programme of events at the dino nursery so anyone returning the second day will find new things to enjoy."

 Tickets are £2 per person on Saturday, and £3 per person on Sunday.
