Congleton Board Games For Mental Health Documentary Broadcast Worldwide
A documentary inspired by a wellness event at a Congleton church is to be transmitted worldwide.
Board Games For Mental Health can be herad on local and international radio this week.
The documentary by local FM radio presenter Stuart Neild is to be broadcast on radio stations across the globe.
Board Games For Mental Health wiil be heard on radio stations in Europe, the UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia, South America and Africa.
It is being broadcast on community stations, internet stations and even national stations, in the case of Falklands Radio.
Local stations who will be broadcasting the documentary include Canalside Radio, Churnet Sound, Dane Sound, Radio Northwich and the multi award-w-inning All FM in Manchester as well further afield stations like the Queens Award winning Nevis Radio in Scotland.
The documentary will be transmitted on the internet, FM, DAB and medium wave with the list of stations it will feature on growing by the day.
Stuart is the founder of Board Games For Mental Health, which held its first two free live events at the United Reformed Church in Congleton this year.
The host of The Moorings event and documentary spoke to Congleton Nub News.
He said, "I'm over the moon that so many radio stations have become involved. I hope that when people hear some of the stories on the broadcast it might help them with their own struggles. Congleton is known as the little town with the big heart and this documentary will be helping to convey that message worldwide."
The documentary highlights the benefits of playing board games for mental well-being, be it keeping our minds active or for helping with our social lives and features interviews with experts in the field as well as personal stories where people tell how playing board games has helped them through difficult times.
The docushort Board Games For Mental Health will be going out on Churnet Sound at 10am on Tuesday Morning.
Canalside Radio are putting it on this week, at a currently unconfirmed date.
All FM's broadcast of the docushort will also be confirmed for this week.
