Black Sheep Theatres success continues, with their second play 'Now That The Lockdown is Over' a sell-out.

They performed the 'very successful' Cong Bear radio pantomime, A Cong Bear Christmas, that was written by FM radio presenter Stuart Neild and performed by Black Sheep Theatre back in Christmas 2020 during the height of the pandemic.

It was their very first production and Stuart Neild said: "I was so pleased to be involved in the birth of the company and to be instrumental in having it broadcast to a wide FM radio audience on Canalside Radio 102.8 FM.

"The last full cast pantomime to be done was on Home Counties Radio before the birth of FM, not even radio 4 have put on a full length, full cast FM radio pantomime, it is quite an achievement from myself and Black Sheep Theatre and a credit to Canalside Radio for backing the project."

Black Sheep Theatre are now performing 'Now That The Lockdown is Over' which has had a massive ticket sale success as live theatre returns.

A fun little fact is that the first Black Sheep Theatre play was going to be a comedy drama called 'War of The Pigeons', which I also wrote, but I came up with the idea of putting on a radio pantomime because of the lockdown and how many theatres were unable to perform during that time.

Black Sheep Theatre have said that they still want to bring out 'War of The Pigeons' for a live audience, so keep an eye out for that.
