Police have raided two properties in Congleton as part of an ongoing 'drug-related' investigation.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

It comes after officers executed two warrants in Congleton on Friday, July 25.

During the operation, a 'significant quantity' of drugs and cash were seized from the two locations.

Additionally, a Sur-Ron E-bike has been confiscated as part of the force's ongoing investigation.

A spokesperson said: "We encourage community members to report any suspicious activity or concerns.

"Your vigilance is crucial in maintaining the safety and well-being of our neighbourhood.

"Please do not hesitate to contact us with any information.

"Thank you for your continued support."

At one of the addresses, on Sefton Avenue, police arrested a 25-year-old man.

He has since been bailed.
