Armed police spotted in Congleton as part of 'ongoing investigation'

Armed police have been spotted in Congleton.
Officers have been conducting enquiries at a property on Wilbraham Road on Tuesday afternoon (October 7).
Cheshire Police have released limited details of the incident but have said it is part of an 'ongoing investigation'.
It is understood there is no risk to the wider public.
A police spokesperson said: "As part of an ongoing investigation, officers conducted enquiries at an address in Wilbraham Road, Congleton, on Tuesday, October 7.
"Firearms officers were in attendance and following enquires, no arrests were made.
"We would like to reassure residents in the area there is no risk to the wider public."
