Aldi announces jobs push in Congleton with 16 new vacancies

Aldi is recruiting new colleagues in Congleton as a result of its continued expansion in the area. 

In welcome news for the local community, the supermarket is currently recruiting for 16 new roles including Store Assistants, Apprentices, Cleaners and Caretakers ranging from 10 - 30 hours per week.

Aldi is looking to hire for these roles at its Viking Way Store that is due to open later this year. Colleagues will be trained at nearby stores in West Heath and Holmes Chapel.

From the 1st of June 2024, starting pay for Aldi Store Assistants will be £12.40 per hour nationally and £13.65 within the M25, and paid breaks for the average store colleague are worth more than £900 per annum.
