Air amublance called to Congleton following crash between van and motorbike

The air ambulance had to be called after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a van in Congleton.

Emergency services were called to Sandbach Road, Congleton, at round 7pm yesterday (June 26) following the incident.

Paramedics treated a man for his injuries which are described as 'serious'.

A full road closure was implemented as a result of the crash.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "The collision involved a motorbike and a van.

"Ambulance attended to the scene and the rider of the motorbike is believed to have suffered serious injuries.

"If anyone has any information please contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 739288."
