Congleton Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, including classics, reinventions of familiar favourites and some crazy concoctions unique to Nub News.

This week, Josh is bringing you a creation bluer than the spring sky!

The Spring Sour is a combination of a classic sour and that vibrant fruity cocktail that reminds us of the fast-approaching sunny months.

Ingredients:

  • 25ml blue curacao
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 25ml sugar syrup (you can make this by boiling water and sugar)
  • 25ml gin

Method:

  1. add all of your ingredients to a shaker with ice
  2. shake until chilled - or until the ice is melted, if you like your cocktail a little weaker
  3. strain into a martini glass

Enjoy - and don't forget to think of summer!

Take a look at last week's cocktail feature here.

Or share your own feature by clicking the 'Nub It' button at the top of the News page.
