Congleton Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, including classics, reinventions of familiar favourites and some crazy concoctions unique to Nub News.
This week, Josh is bringing you an unusual cocktail inspired by a recent social media trend - coffee mixed with orange juice.
We thought it sounded weird too, but don't knock it until you've tried it!
Ingredients:
- 25ml coffee
- 25ml orange juice
- dash of bitters - great if you have orange
- 25ml rum
Method:
- brew a strong coffee
- add all of your ingredients to a shaker with plenty of ice to chill the coffee
- shake over ice until chilled
- strain into a coupe or martini glass
- enjoy!
