Congleton Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, including classics, reinventions of familiar favourites and some crazy concoctions unique to Nub News.

This week, Josh is bringing you an unusual cocktail inspired by a recent social media trend - coffee mixed with orange juice.

We thought it sounded weird too, but don't knock it until you've tried it!

Ingredients:

• 25ml coffee
• 25ml orange juice
• dash of bitters - great if you have orange
• 25ml rum

Method:

1. brew a strong coffee
2. add all of your ingredients to a shaker with plenty of ice to chill the coffee
3. shake over ice until chilled
4. strain into a coupe or martini glass
5. enjoy!
