Congleton Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature.

This week, Josh is bringing you a twist on the classic Espresso Martini: The Mocha Martini

The 'Mocha Martini' is a sweet cocktail with a classy, after-dinner vibe great for winding down after work or serving up as an extra-special treat to Christmas dinner guests.

Find out how to make it below...

Ingredients:

  • 50ml cooled coffee
  • 25ml vodka
  • 25ml cooled 'hot' chocolate
  • 25ml amaretto

Method:

  1. add plenty of ice to a martin glass to chill it
  2. put all of your ingredients into a shaker with ice
  3. shake hard for 30 seconds over ice
  4. remove the ice and share for a further 20 seconds
  5. remove the ice from your glass
  6. strain your shaken cocktail into your martini glass
  7. squeeze over a swirl of chocolate sauce, or sprinkle with cocoa powder to decorate

Check back next week for another Cocktail of the Week, shared each Friday to get the weekend going.
