Cocktail of the Week: Mexican Mule
Congleton Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, and this week we are back sharing alcoholic cocktails after a month of supporting Dry January with our 'Mocktail of the Week'.
This week, Josh is bringing you his take on a Mexican Mule - like a Moscow Mule, but with tequila and a twist!
Get ready for this baby to fire you up for the weekend.
Ingredients:
- 50ml tequila
- 25ml limejuice
- 25ml lemon juice
- mint leaves or syrup
- ginger beer
Method:
- if you are using mint leaves, muddle in a shaker
- add your tequila, lime juice and lemon juice to the shaker
- if you are using mint syrup, add with your wet ingredients
- shake over ice until chilled
- pour into a tumbler over ice - if you used mint leaves, be sure to strain
- top up with ginger beer
- add a wedge of lemon to garnish
